Table Recognition

Turn tables in screenshots into editable data that you can paste directly into Excel, WPS, and similar apps.

Pro feature: requires VeryCapture PRO activation.

How to Use

1. Press a screenshot hotkey and select an area containing a table
2. On the screenshot toolbar, hover over Recognize to open the recognition menu
3. Click Table recognition
4. Wait briefly. The result panel opens with the recognized table
5. Select the table content, copy it, and paste it into Excel or WPS

The app remembers the last recognition mode used. If you last chose table recognition, clicking Recognize directly next time runs table recognition without opening the menu.

After Recognition

• Result panel: shows the table for direct selection and copying
• Auto save: if auto save is enabled, a table file (.xls) is also saved in the screenshot folder and can be opened in Excel
• Auto copy: if Auto copy after OCR is enabled in Settings, the result is copied to the clipboard automatically

Tips

• Select the full table when possible and avoid cutting off borders
• Clear lines and high contrast improve recognition quality
• Tables with many merged cells or skewed angles may be less accurate. Try again or enlarge the selection
• Recognition is more accurate when the table language matches the recognition language setting (change it in the OCR result panel)
