Recording
GIF Recording
Record a screen area as an animated GIF.
Steps:
- Press the GIF recording hotkey
- Drag to select the recording area
- Recording starts and a red border appears around the selected area
- Click Stop on the toolbar to finish
- The GIF is saved automatically to the configured folder
GIF settings (adjust in Settings):
- Frame rate: higher frame rates produce smoother GIFs and larger files
- Resolution: original resolution or a scaled-down size
Video Recording
Record the screen as MP4 video, with optional audio.
Steps:
- Press the video recording hotkey
- Drag to select the recording area (or use a preset area in Settings)
- Recording starts and a border indicator appears
- Click Stop on the toolbar to finish. The video is saved automatically
Audio mode (choose in Settings):
| Mode | Description |

| Video only | No audio |
| Video + microphone | Record microphone input (for narration) |
| Video + system audio | Record sound played by the computer (for games, videos, and so on) |
Tip: You can enable "Hide cursor while recording" in Settings for a cleaner recording.
