QR Code Recognition

Read QR code content from a screenshot quickly for copying links or text, with no internet required.

Pro feature: requires VeryCapture PRO activation.

How to Use

1. Press a screenshot hotkey and select an area containing a QR code
2. On the screenshot toolbar, hover over Recognize to open the recognition menu
3. Click Recognize QR code
4. The result panel opens with the QR code content
5. Select the text and copy it for use in a browser or another app

You can also press Alt+Q during screenshot capture to recognize a QR code directly.

The app remembers the last recognition mode used. If you last chose QR code recognition, clicking Recognize directly next time runs QR code recognition without opening the menu.

Recognition Results

• Success: the panel title shows QR code recognition result, and the content is the text encoded in the QR code (often a URL)
• Not detected: shows No QR code detected. Adjust the selection and try again

Tips

• Select the full QR code with a little margin around it
• Clear, unobstructed QR codes are easiest to recognize
• If the image is blurry or heavily tilted, capture again or enlarge the selection before retrying
